The address is misleading. it's listed as being in a town close to tourist attractions, but it's actually a 10-minute drive away, making for extra travel hassle. The rooms feel a bit outdated, with noticeable peeling paint and tight spaces for storage, limiting comfort for longer stays. Parking also poses a challenge due to a steep slope and limited space, pushing guests to find street parking instead.

The food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, especially the braised beef—it was fenomenal! Plus, the snug bar area was a delight after a long day exploring Bourton-on-the-Water. The staff were genuinely friendly and made dining a pleasure.

I couldn't get enough of the gorgeous bathroom featuring a freestanding copper bath, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Plus, the attention to detail like complimentary homemade brownies took the experience to another level!

Our two-night trip was incredible! The large room provided plenty of space, albeit with a unique bathing arrangement. Outdoor seating areas were plentiful, with cozy blankets and heaters. Dinner was a standout, particularly the beetroot salad and pan-roasted chicken. Don't miss the breakfast croissant!

The stay was lovely, especially due to the amazing food served. The braised beef was phenomenal and reasonably priced. the room we received was much smaller than expected, and the heating situation could have been much better, as it felt really cold during our visit. The outdoor area was beautiful, perfect for enjoying the sunshine.

the wheatsheaf is a beautiful property and the beds are incredibly comfy. it's so close to youngs brewery, making it easy to explore nearby. the attentive staff truly made our dinner enjoyable, and we appreciated the effort they put into our meal.
